And once again..........

..............I've spent the day in hospital!

Woke up at 3am with an awful sharp pain in my stomach and a rush of red blood when I went to the loo. Had the pain for the rest of the night, bleeding stopped and brown discharge started.

Went to hospital and had various tests and a quick scan to confirm Bubs was all ok.

It looks like the earlier diagnosis of a low placenta is correct, although the scanner on the ward wasn't brilliant, and this is apparantly irritating my cervix.

Another concern now is that that there is not alot of fluid around Bubs so that will be investigated further at the twenty week scan on Wednesday.

So much for my witch of a midwife telling me I was only having 'stretching' pains last Wednesday and not wanting to see me................

I think this pregnancy is just going to be a worry throughout!!!

Roll on Wednesday and hopefully some answers!!!

Sorry you are having a rough time and glad that they scanned you ASAP. Hopefully they'll be able to get a better idea of whats going on during the scan on Weds.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time, glad baby is ok and that they are aware they need to keep a close eye on you atm just a shame you have to wait till Wednesday for the scan.

After frightening myself silly by searching the internet last night I've pulled myself together now.

I am however going to make myself drink ALOT of water each day which is known to help boost the fluid levels.

So I may be in the loo more often than not!!!!
