An August baby for me!!!! :-)

Hey... great news.. very relieved for you!! As I said on my text its not all that bad.. just the soreness for a while after the birth instead of the unpredictable and painful labour beforehand... its fab knowing when you will get to meet your little boy though.. very excited for you!!

Word of warning though.. don't overdo it with the nesting and cleaning as it may bring on labour after all as it did with me and you could end up having the initial stages of labour as well as a section... not what we bargained for and not ideal i can assure you!!!

I can honestly say [one week on from my section] that I would do it again if necessary... I am up and about now and the pain is much less, my scar is healing nicely, my tummy has reduced in size quite drastically and even though I cannot do the housework yet [shame!!] I am much more mobile and up beat than a few days ago... so its not all doom and gloom!!

Another August baby.. yippppeeee... you'll be a mum all over again VERY VERY soon!!!!

Thanks Tracey! Ooo, pressies already!!!

Jaidy - it's because my SPD is so bad (you nosey bugger you!! ) The consultant today felt LO's head in the usual way of pressing my tummy, but I think he sort of caught him under the chin and pushed his head into my pelvis. I actually shouted out loud with the pain, nearly thumped him, then burst into tears! There is no way I would be able to give birth vaginally, the pain would be excrutiating!

Ahhhhhhh I see now...I miss out on all the interesting bits not being in the 3rd trimester just yet!

Hey that's great news Tankett....at least you have a date now....but hey LO might just decide to put in an appearance before then..you never know....hehehe. The time will fly by and your LO will be here before you know it....

Thats great, its fab to be in control and know when its happening when there really isnt any other way.

There was a girl in my ward with spd and she was up walking without her crutches. She had a section.

Thanks everyone. I feel soooo relieved today. And it feels great knowing that I have a maximum of 12 days!

I actually slept better last night than I have in months!! Been up since 4.50am though in a panic that I've forgotten a vital piece of nursery equipment!! I just can't work out what it is!!!

That is great knowing when your little one will come Tankett. I had a section booked but my Isabella decided to make an earlier appearance and I was quite far along with labour so decided doing it natural. All the best and I bet you are so excited now.

That's great news Tankett! Sorry to hear your SPD is so bad though, mine just seems to bother me at night now, when I get in and out of bed to pee a thousand times!

I'd love to have a date when I knew she'd definately be here......I can't say I'm not jealous, I really hope I beat you to it! But I have a sneeky suspision I won't!
