Amy Winehouse

I absolutely adored her music, I think she was one of the most talented musicians around, in spite of her compulsion to self destruct. I am really really sad :(

I love what Russell Brand wrote, really lovely.

I don't care what she done, or what she was taking, she paid for her drugs herself, her drink herself, and hurt nobody, and ended up paying with her life in the end. I hope she can rest easy now.

Thoughts also go out to the families in Norway, another sad tragedy, but not worth a "which is more tragic" debate, with both stories, there are families left behind, devastated and broken, hope they all come through this x

Well Said!! :D xx

Waste of talent for sure but thats the life she chose...she could have all the money in the world but I guess love and music was all she cared about and the first crushed her heart forever....

Yeah she did choose to life like that no one forced her but if you read what I wrote previously when you're messed up and addicted to something you're more likely to make the wrong choices. Been there, done that - not really with drugs biut with other self destructive behaviours. And you'll only accept help and change when you're ready to.

I'm sure she also cared about and loved her family too!

It's so oddly local..... I know lots of people who went to school with her (at three different schools...) and the synagogue where they held the last service is where my god-daughter goes to Brownies :(

She was cremated yesterday, she is no more :( it showed her ashes being carried out, that's her, life over :(x
