Am i or arent i?

I am now 6 days late and have just tested again.... i got a very faint BFP line but the tests that i have got are chepy ones and dont say how long to leave in the pee, i have had 5 BFn so far but this one def has a very pale 2nd line. I left it in the wee for much longer about 5 mins do you think i cheated and its really a BFN? Now i dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!! with my DD i got a very very dark line and it was obvious!!!!

I looked at the test and it didnt seem to have much dye in it either so will wait one week and then test with a proper one! This is doing my head in!!

why not just go the doctors and get it done there. its free and more reliable. or a chemist. You have to pay but they use good testers.

4 days late for me, still not tested..coz I am thinking "naaa, I am not pregnant, I am just gonna wate another test!" so will wait a bit longer and if still no AF by....hmmm, by when???...Sunday, maybe saturday, maybe tomorrow, I will test again!!!

Let us know, go to tescos 24 hours, buy a real good expensive one, and test again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come one!

Thing is mel that all my smptoms have disappeared! , i even got ross to look at the test as i dont trust myself not to imagine a line!!

I really think i mucked up the test by dipping it for so long!

You have to test again Mel, are you normally regular?????!!!!

I used to be, like a clock work, and since last month, I mean, my last cycle seemed to be a tiny bit longer than the previous one, according to my ticker anyway, the only problem is I can't really remember how many days longer!!!! I think it was just 2, but you know, it's just what I think!!!
I haven't got any symptoms anymore at all, actually, and I keep getting those pre-AF cramps, so that's why I am convinced that I am not pregnant.
Though, to be honest, When I was with Maheen, I only discovered it at 6 weeks, and that's only because I started feeling nausea in the evening, but not much, and mentioned it casually to my boss (a male) who suggested I was pregnant!!! he knew better than me!


I will wait a bit longer before I test again, but how long I will wait, I can't tell...if I had listened to myself, I would have done it tonight, but I know morning wee is best, so...

But cheating or not, you can't say, you must try again, if I'd got a line, even the thinest, I would have done another one!

Whats this thing about morning wee? I never knew that? I only have one test left so have to choose the timing wisely!

Well, apparently, the morning wee is supposed to be stronger in whatever shows, I mean the pregnancy hormone...oh Gosh, I am so bad at explaining things in English, anyway, if you think you are early in your pregnancy, this is the best one to use it for testing, as it's more dense in what will show u're pregnant...Do you understand me??? I don' understand myself!!! I have just come back from a 2 hours parents evening and I am nackered!! Gosh, if that's how I spoke to the parents, I bet they have a pretty bad image of their child's French teacher!!!!!!!!

BTW, how do you test? (sorry TMI), you collect your pee and dip the test in or you just put the test on the flow when you...wee?

Yes I heard that the pregnancy hormones are more concentrated in the morning, I assume because you won't have been drinking and therefore the wee isn't as diluted

Melhoney the tests I have are like little dipper sticks so I pee into a glass ramekin (and no, we don't still use it for cooking ) and then dip in the stick for about 10 seconds, I think. Good luck, when are you going to test?

Wow do you teach french then?? I loved french at school but never got the whole vous etre thing? confusing and why does a table need to have a sex!!! its a wonder i was in the top set at all.

Can't tell you why table is feminine, Kelly, but think about German, where you have masculine, feminine AND neuter!!!!

Those who like French will say "it's because French is such a romantic language" (male/female, lots of love stories going on in my lessons!!! )

I got BFN today too and im 5 days late im usual regular but i also done the test late morning after id been shopping so do u think i should test as soon as i get up in the morning and go for my first wee?
When i tested with my other children i was more than 2 weeks late for AF

Melhoney, I knew exactly what you meant I thought you worded it just fine Especially if English is not your first language! OH and I almost moved to France 3 or 4 years ago, I love the language A demain, j'espere qu'il y a beaucoup de BFP's ce weekend - (please excuse my rubbish attempt at french)

sarah113 it might be worth waiting a few days especially if if took a couple of weeks to get BFPs with your other pregancies, if you can stand to wait But yes, definitely use your first wee of the day

I'll stay around anyway, am still TTCing, I mean, I have never used charts or temp, or anything else, we just hope that nature will follow our wish! But we defo need another baby coz Maheen is getting real jealous with other kids at nursery, she has been naughty again, and scratched the same (!!! ) baby again! so pleassssssse, ANOTHER BABY SOON!!!!!!!
