Am I being over sensitive?...

Ive just shown my 4D scan pics to my beast of a boss (the MD) and she completely critisied every single picture!!!!! she said "omg thats a huge forehead thats going to be painful" "urgh the nose looks wierd" "she looks very alien like" "there not very flattering are they"

I know she isnt fully developed yet but i just feel really pissed off with her...who is she to make comments like that!? !!!!

aw dont worry about it hun, to be honest scan pics are not flatering at all, my daughter looked like E.T and ths one looked like an insect at is 8wk scan

many ppl find scan pics weird especially if they havent got kids, dont be too upset hun i doubt for a second she ment it to sound the way it did xxx

i had a 4d scan at 16weeks and i thought it was strange to look at compared to the cute black and white scan i got previously, but i knew my baby wasnt going to look like an actual baby its stil growing loads, i think some people dont realise how different they look as they grow in the womb, my sister who has had two saw it and said it totally different to the one she had when she was 29weeks but stil though it was cute to see the eyes, nose, chin and hands etc..

I think some people are rude and dont think of other peoples feelings either, i would just ignore her!

That's a bit nasty, I would feel upset too, it's one of those unwritten rules you don't say horrible things about peoples babies! Sounds like she could be jealous though!

thanks girls, prob jealous but tbh i think shes still bitter because im having a baby and not following the career she had panned out for me! nevermind. i get that they arent always the most flattering of pics but i would never dream of saying anything like "urgh" to somebodies elses!! xx

What a knob! It really sounds like you're the daughter she never had and is trying to push a career onto you that she would've wanted her own daugther to have, if she had one.

My OH thinks 4D scan pics are weird and that they freak him out whereas I think they are awesome! They aren't everybody's cup of tea but I think with your MD its more than that. Maybe she's resenting the fact that you'll be taking time out to spend with your LO and she's actually gona miss having you around and she's not handling the situation very well. Or she's just a big mouthed bee-atch! x

I think you have summed it up pretty well, thats exactly it, shes always pushing me to do the things she wishes her duaghter (exact same age age as me but she has a rubbish relationship with) had of done.

Ah well, i know my daughter will be beautiful to me and thats all that matters, she just really annoyed me yesterday! xx

I know some ppl dont like the look of the 4D scans (myself included, no offence) but I would still say awww it looks cute ect. It does sound a bit like jealousy but some people are just nasty and thoughless in that way.
