Callum recently wants feeding all the time

After a bottle of milk, or breast, gives it about half an hour and hes crying for more...

So i give it to him...

Am i right in thinking this is a sign of being needing to be weaned?
Except i dont want to until hes 6 months

What shall i do?

It is more than likely a growth spurt....keep feeding him.

There are lots of "signs" for weaning and more often than not babies don't really need to be weaned. Although there are some babies that need to be weaned early...Evie was weaned early but that was the right thing for her.

If it continues for a longer period of time then maybe you should talk to your doc/hv.

Just remember to do lots of research though before you wean a baby that is under 6 months.

Sounds like a growth spurt to me honey. He's such a gorgeous littlie, maybe he's chuffing it down now and will grow really fast for a bit.

They have a MAJOR growth spurt at 4 months hun, its probably that, all you can do is feed him, i would say try this rather than wean early...its a pain...Ted ate like a beast but it does even off. You may find it affects his sleep (or u may be one of the lucky ones ) our lovely little sleeper turned into a nightmare waker during his 4 month growth spurt

Which is a good thing

Its just the daytimes hes a bit of a nightmare

And i really DONT want to wean before 6 months
