All the symptons but very very very very faint tests strange

Hey everyone

Its now the 10th day that im late of Af .... As it got to 5days late two weeks before that i had been getting terrible headaches , spots which i never get being very very lazy and eating loads... as i become 7 days late i started to gag in the mornings , start to wee more often .... it then come to 8 days and have not been eating much at all still lazy come to 9th+10th day i have metalic taste in my mouth which taste eww and getting lots of discharge sorry for tmi ....but some of my tests are showing a very very very faint line and some are coming up negative...im soo confused anyone have any soloutions??

My doctors are stupid i went there the other day and they gave me a slip to have a scan at my local clinic i rang up my local clinic and said what time do you open as im coming for a scan she said to me we dont do scans here a nymore huh?

so i now have to go to that clinic on monday to speak to a midwife

Have you tried a clear blue digital - that will pop up with either pregnant or not in words.

Im doing one of them monday what if ive only got like 1% tiny tiny bit og hcg will it still show pregnant?

They are really sensitive! and you will know one way or the other! but I can see a line on one of your tests. Did you use FMU?

try your first wee in the morning- thats when its more prevalent and you will get a more accurate result. its very difficult to get a flase positive result as the hormone is only present when you are pregnant (or have certain cancers but I should worry about that) and the line will only show (no matter how faint) is the hormone is present.

Its a bit like litmus paper.

i can't see anything but mine were clear so i'm not sure how hard I have to look!

plus the camera will distort it so only you could tell.

I'd suggest a blood test at your doctors.

If you are pg you'll have to get used to needles I'm afraid as they do have to do quite a few blood tests.
Other ladies on here who have got BFN's have been told by their doctors that they have to wait until they've missed their next period before getting a blood test.
If I were you I'd test again in a couple days using FMU and no pulling the tests apart! Good luck

If you're getting what you think are faint positives, you won't be far along enough for a scan to be of any help. If you were further on like you suspect you might be, there wouldn't be any doubt on your tests.

Scans are used to check on development of the bub, and often they can't see anything before 6 weeks. Scans are not used to confirm whether you are pregnant or not in the first place - for that you need to take a sample of wee to your doctor or get him/her to take a blood sample.

That really is the only way to know for sure if your home tests are not consistent.

It's not that I don't believe you, in fact I went through several days of faint tests myself - the kind you have to really hold up to the light to see etc. I also did the dismantling thing myself so I understand. Mine gradually got darker until I could see them without all the palaver.

Make an appointment with your doctor, and in the meantime keep testing, but use FMU for best results.
