I could see the line through that plastic bit thats been pulled back i pulled it back to see it more clearly, i know like 80% that i am as ive been getting symptons for weeks and 8 days late today and being lazy boobs hard etc...im just gonna go for a scan xx

I agree you should test again in a couple days, those lines are not in the right place. There should only be a small gap between the test line and the control line. Sorry hun

they are in the right places hun i rang them up and looked at the intrustions thats the test bit

sorry I must be looking at the wrong bit. I'm looking at the lines under the bit of the test thats peeled off.
I do know that when I first got my bfp the line was so faint it didn't show up when I tried to take a photo of it with my phone, maybe thats what happened?

The phone is making the gap look bigger i could see through that plastic bit thats pulled back... on the intructions it points to where the test bit is and thats where that clear line is ..ive done another test last night which shows up a faint positive... but then done a clear blue this morning which shows negatives so i have 5 bfps and 1 neg confused?

Do you have another cheapie you can do that you'll be able to take a pic of then post without pulling back the strip?

Yeah i have it here with me now but wen i take a pic u can hardly see it i showed my friend on webcam and she saw it ill post a pic now on here but i doubt ull see it but its there and all the case and everything

I can't imagine that the doctor would just book you in for one without taking a test to see if you are first

I can't see a line there, but as I said before when I tried to take a picture of my very faint bfp, the line wouldn't show up in the photo. You'd never get a scan on the nhs. They tell you to wait until you've missed your next period before investigating. If must be awful not knowing one way or the other

I would say negative hon, but the best thing you can do is see a doc.
You know your body best, and it isn't always right to trust a home pregnancy test over that.

See a doc and tell us how things went.

26. My test developed a line, but it's going the wrong way. Or it's in the wrong place. Or it's the wrong color. Is it positive? No. If your test develops a line but it's not in the proper place for a "positive" result, the test is negative. A true positive line is caused by the chemicals and dye "sticking" to the antibody strip in the test. This antibody strip is in the "proper" place. If the chemicals and dye don't stick there, the result is negative.

It is common for a test to develop a line where the wick (the dipping/peeing end) meets the cellulose strip (the smooth white test area.) This is because the dipping end contains a "sandwich" (two strips with the dye/reagent in the middle) and is much thicker than the cellulose (thin, smooth.) The difference in thicknesses sometimes makes residual dye pool in that area. This can also happen when less urine is applied to the test (not enough to make all the dye cross the test.) This is still a negative result. These lines can usually only be seen when a test is disassembled or when using a dip-type test rather than a test encased in a plastic handle.

That sounds like the one's where you had to peel back the strip. Sorry hun, it doesn't sound positive to me.Definately test again in a couple days, I hope it's good news

I agree with the above, i hope you dont think we are being mean but the lines on the tests are not in the right place, i used those ones and mine looked like this....

I think if you have done several tests and some have lines in the wrong place and the other says neg theny ou prob aren't pregnant. Test again in a week if no period on the meantime.
