The joys of work!!!! I started on monday and since, Thomas'sleeping pattern is all over the place :( He used to sleep through the night but now wakes up several times a night, still does not feed as much as he should, which does not help for sleeping either.

He is great apart from him not sleeping through anymore but i think the fact i went to work changed the routine and it is going to change quite a lot for another few weeks, because i am on holiday for 2 weeks then he will start nursery, poor lad lol

It is very tiring though working when not having a lot of sleep. The kids do not care if you are tired so my teaching is already poor

He'll get used to the change hun, it might jsut take him a bit of time.

Nurseries introduce a routine as well so he should be ok there.

Hope it goes ok for you Hun.

you are already gone back to work????

You are very brave! being a teacher myself, I completely understand what you mean with tiredness and teaching!!! esp. now that GCSE is so close!!!!!!!!

I am supposed to get back last week of July...to get summer break paid, but am thinking I might take the extra 26 weeks unpaid as well...just because I can't see myself doing a good job both at hme and in school!

It will probably take him a while to adjust but he will...it's more a question of you being able to adjust!
PM me if you want to talk, I don't know how your colleagues are, but they migt not be very understanding!
take care,
Mel xx
