ak gruyere cheese???

in a recipe in ak it includes gruyere cheese added off the heat. its an unpasteurised cheese which according to NHS website you can eat when pregnant. my lo is 7 mths old...would this be safe? Surely ak book is checked prior to print.

I thought 'raw' foods - so unpasturised, honey etc was a year. But that from HV and we all know what they can be like. X

Hey, I made this recipe the other day! I looked it up and as long as you heat it above 70 degrees ( I think!) it pasteurises it. Bubs loved the recipe too! x
