Af and breastfeeding.

My lo is now 8 months and has been ebf. I've now started putting on formula. He now only has breast before bed. I've been getting period pains for about a week and keep rushing to the loo thinking af has arrived but nothing. How long did it take for peoples af to return?

Mine came when lo was 8 months and on solids, id been getting cramps for about 2 months before that. Though I'm still breastfeeding so it may be a sign yours is coming back fairly soon.x

It took 2 months after I stopped bfing, and I had period pains on/off for 2 months in the lead up to it

I'm not a year on now, would love to still not have periods but I got mine literally once I stopped bleeding after birth x

I'm still bf at night and at weekends and lo is 13 months. My first AF came this month.
