Hi ladies :)

I am having a really tough time right now with acne. I suffered terribly as a teenager and only the strongest drug prescribed by the dermatologist helped, and since then I was taking the pill which kept it under control.

Since coming off the pill a year ago, falling pregnant and having a miscarriage, my acne is out of control. I have the huge cystic acne breakouts which are painful and red. I was very against taking any type of medication whilst ttc because I don't want drugs and chemicals in my system if I should fall pregnant. It's a long shot but does anyone have any advice for me? Or know if there are any safe medications I might be able to get prescribed? Before I make an appt with my GP? (I hate going there lol)

I've used Aztec clay mask (ordered off amazon) through the pregnancy and Azalaic acid is also safe in pregnancy. It wont be as effective as something a doctor could prescribe but I find it keeps my cystic acne under control. The little acne patches that suck out the gunk are also great for shrinking a spot overnight.

Thank you I'll look into the clay mask and azalaic acid! I know, if it gets worse I'll admit defeat and see the doctor. I'm just really reluctant to take something unnecessarily x
