About blinkin time. CD42 there's a big follicle

So clomid didn't seem to work this month. Ten days ago on my tracking scan I still didn't have an egg (
Thought it would be the same old crap when I went for my scan on Friday but to my surprise I had an 18.5 mm follicle. Sure enough LH surge on Saturday and temp rise Sunday morning.

I asked the doc if it was ok to try or if a late egg would be a duff egg but she said go for it.

It's my first cycle on low dose metformin and low GI diet so really think this might have helped get a follicle where clomid had failed.

Now for the wait. Hope my lining thickens up over next few days.

Do you think the progesterone suppositories will help with the lining?

Well poor old lining was only 7.8mm two days before ovulation, sooooo we are pumping me with progesterone to get it thicker ready for when the egg gets down to the uterus.

It means I guess there was 5 days for it to thicken up a bit before any implantation might potentially begin.

Makes me nervious though.
