Hey ladies,

Just thought id see if any of you ladies could suggest anything. After having my 12 week scan last week and waiting for my next midwife app at 16 weeks, I am feeling alittle lost as to what to do with myself now!! Theres so many things to think about. Buying bits for the baby - still feel like its a little early yet. Sorting out mat leave with work and have been told to get all my holidays booked in before I go - Arrrgh I have no idea where to start :S

Any of you around 12 weeks having this problem? or could point me in the right direction??

xx

booking lots of lovely holiday sounds fun! i would be quite entertains planning them all -lol. not quite at that stage yet but hopefully soon. when are you planning on starting your maternity leave?

I have no idea! I don't know when people tend to take it, don't want to go too early as obviously won't have as long after but I work in a clothes shop and being due in sept, the summer holidays will be a nightmare so want to try miss as much of this as poss. Not to mention being heavily pregnant when its warm in a store with no air con! Oh how I'm looking forward to this! I really don't know where to start!! Xx

I am not quite at the 12 week point but I am the same as you thinking of taking it quite late because you get more time of with the baby.

I have am taking 4 odd days duirng april (to get through sickness), 6 days in July, 5 days in August, and then saving 10 days to use before I go on maternity leave. So in affect I have an extra 10 days holiday before the maternity leave date. Im taking different weeks of during the hot season because i will be a walking nightmare in the heat with my bump. lol

Dont forget during your maternty leave you can opt to take your holiday for the following year at the end of your maternity leave so in affect you could have an extra 25 days at the end. thats what I will be doing!

Hope your sort everything out soon xxx
