My mornin sickness has started to settle in  I actually thought I was gonna vom today :oooo: right up to lunch time, I forgot to bring my Ginger to work :brat: Anyway, I chewed some gum and it eased it a bit! :cheer: just in case it helps anyone else :-)

Travel sickness bands from Boots, worked a treat for me with my first! Didn't really have sickness with Ethan and seem to have escaped it this time too.

Possibly! :) we're finding out on Saturday, eeeek!

Honestly though those accupressure bands are amazing, wear one on each wrist and it is instant MS relief! I was out shopping with my OH and in desperation I went and bought some to see if they would help get me through going to watch a film at the cinema and they bloody worked! Hardly took them off as I was scared too!

I know it's really bad but fizzy pop always used to help me too! I think it's just because it sort of fills you up.

Cool if it carries on I shall invest in some, hope it doesn't play up tomorrow I have to drive 70 miles for work :-( how exciting for sat

I have tried dry crackers, they didn't help for me :-( xx

I think it's the carbonated part that helps, maybe you could try fizzy water?

You can get the bands for like £5 on the net x

Try either sparkling water or sucking on ice cubes hunny x x

Ginger and lemon tea worked for me.......and eating, put about 6 lbs in the first 12 weeks because I just HAD to eat. Chewing gum made me feel like gagging for some reason.

Hope it goes soon, it's not long until it will be gone. My worst was at about 9 weeks but started easing off after 10.

Chewing gum was the only thing that helped mine!! The bands helped for a couple of weeks then stopped but I think it's cos I always had them on so should've had breaks from them x.

mines started again the past few days :( i've found sucking on lemon sweets helps..but i bloody forgot them this morning and feel like i need to spew! xx

Yup, my book says anything ginger, lemon or peppermint will help so thats probably why the sweets and gum are working. I'm getting through massive amounts of lemon and ginger tea, which really helps. But a small warning, dont just get any brand, especially not the expensive organic ones, as the infusions tend to also contain liquorice root (which can cause miscarriage) get the Twinnings one or the Sainsburys own, they both have only lemon and ginger! x

Agree with the Lemon n Ginger tea. Twinnings is the best I've had followed by Liptons.

Also grazing inbetween meals. I try to keep fresh fruit or dried fruit close by so at least I'm getting some nutrients.

I'm finding the only thing that really helps for me is to keep eating. If I eat something I find I'm OK for a short while, but then start to feel nauseous again fairly quickly. It also seems to get worse for me as the day goes on. I really need to find some healthy things that I can keep eating all day long. Will probably try carrot sticks next week. Lemon sweets are OK, but I don't think that's anything to do with the lemon for me, it's just that it's food. I was already about a stone over weight when I got my BFP I really don't want to put on more weight than I have to. Oh, and I hate ginger, so just the thought of ginger tea really doesn't appeal to me in any way!

Hi toni
I hate ginger too, but at this moment I'm glugging it back because it really does help.

I advise unripe nectarines to all and sundry (i couldnt hack ripe ones) as they are nice and tart, good for constipation and also seem to help x
