Taking some vitamin C is actually a great idea,
because vitamin C (in small doses) can do something
wonderful to increase your fertility.* It actually
improves your cervical fluid.* You may know that
the cervical fluid is crucial for transporting
the sperm to your cervix and on to your uterus,
where it will eventually meet up with your egg.
Without good quality cervical fluid, the sperm just
doesn't have a chance of surviving for very long.

But here's the catch...Too much vitamin C can have
the opposite effect.* Yeah, that's right...too much
can cause your cervical fluid to dry up, and that
can just about ruin your chance of ever getting
pregnant.* So you must be extremely careful to avoid
taking high doses of vitamin C supplements (especially
during cold and flu season where we're often advised
to load up on vitamin C).

How much is too much??* I would recommend 500mg of
vitamin C supplements daily, or you can go as high as
1000mg, but definitely do not take more than 1000mg
per day.
In some recent studies, women exposed to "laughter
therapy" actually had greater pregnancy rates than
those who did not participate.* What is laughter
therapy?

It's just what you might think.* For at least 15 minutes
a day (more is better), you need to find an activity
that makes you laugh!!* Personally, I think one of
the best ways to do this is to watch a comedy show
on TV, or rent a really funny movie.* Or you can
visit a comedy club if there is one in your area.
It doesn't really matter what it is, as long as you are
doing something that makes you laugh!!

Believe it or not, this works much better than trying
to force yourself to relax!!* Give it a try and see
if it makes a difference! *
 
There is a food that some pregnant women
know to avoid, but not many women who are trying to
get pregnant know about this.* What am I
referring to?

FISH

No, I do not mean to avoid all fish, because most
fish can be beneficial to your fertility as it is high
in Omega 3 fatty acids.* The fish you need to
avoid are the ones that are high in mercury.* *

Here's why.* When you conceive, and then find out
you're pregnant about 2 weeks later when your period
doesn't show up, the baby has already been exposed
to everything you have put in your body during those
two weeks.* Now hopefully, you have cut out most
of the obvious things that would be harmful to the baby,
but you might not have thought about fish high in
mercury.

Mercury can get stored up in your bloodstream from
too much consumption, and then passed on to the
developing baby.* Too much mercury can effect the
nervous system of an unborn baby.

One fish that many people eat quite frequently is "white"
tuna fish in the can. This can have high levels of toxic
mercury in it and should be eaten only in small quantities.

You should completely avoid shark, swordfish, king
mackerel, and tile fish (also called golden or white snapper),
tuna steaks (fresh or frozen), orange roughy, Spanish
mackerel, marlin, and grouper because these fish contain
the highest levels of mercury.

But remember, do not avoid all fish, only those that
are high in mercury, because fish is loaded with protein,
vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids -- all of which are an
important part of a healthy diet. There are plenty of good
fish choices such as salmon, rainbow trout, and canned
mackerel, for instance -- that contain low levels of mercury
and are high in healthy fats.

For instance, swap to roll on deodorant as the fumes from an aerosal causes free radicals that can affect fetility. The same can be said for cleaning products, change to Eco friendly ones

Natural Remedies That Can Help Increase Your Chances of Getting Pregnant

When you make the decision to try and get pregnant, most think it will happen easily. Unfortunately, this just isn’t the case for many women. Red Clover (trifolium pretense) restores and balances hormonal function and nourishes the uterus. Red Clover contains isoflavones (estrogen-like compounds) which promote estrogen production and which may enhance fertility in women and boost estrogen levels in women with estrogen deficiencies. In addition, the Red Clover contains calcium and magnesium which can relax the nervous system and improve fertility. Traditionally, Red Clover has been administered to help restore irregular menses and to balance the acid-alkaline level of the vagina to promote conception.
Siberian Ginseng (eleutherococcus senticosus root) has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to reinforce the body’s vital energy (what the Chinese call chi). Siberian ginseng may positively affect hormone levels, tone uterine muscles, support healthy uterine function, and enhance fertility.
Ginkgo Biloba has been used in traditional medicine to treat circulatory disorders and enhance memory – and recent scientific studies lend credence to Gingko claims. In addition, laboratory studies have shown that Gingko improves blood circulation and increases peripheral blood flow to the reproductive organs, maintaining healthy blood vessel tone. Gingko also performs a cleansing antioxidant function.
PABA is a B Complex vitamin that is synthesized in the body. PABA is believed to increase the ability of estrogen to facilitate fertility and increases the ability of some infertile women to become pregnant. A clinical trial reported that 12 of 16 previously infertile women were able to become pregnant after supplementing with PABA over several months.
Antioxidant Support: Vitamins C and E are important vitamins and cleansing antioxidants that play a vital role in repairing damage caused by the environment, aging, and in preventing cellular damage due to oxidizing free radicals. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant central to overall reproductive health and wellness. In a preliminary human trial, infertile couples given vitamin E showed a significant increase in fertility. Red Raspberry Leaf is highly regarded for its ability to tone the uterus and muscles of the pelvic region. A highly nutritive ingredient, Red Raspberry is a powerful fertility-promoting herb, especially when used in combination with Peppermint.
Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant that enhances reproductive health by repairing the oxidative damage that occurs naturally as the result of environmental toxins and aging. A study from the American Journal of Public Health found that drinking 1/2 cup or more of green tea daily doubled the odds of conception per cycle. Due to the inclusion of Green Tea, there is a very slight touch of caffeine (equal to just 1/25th a cup of coffee).
Ladies Mantle is a “tonic” (tones and brings health) herb that is useful in regulating a woman’s monthly cycle. It also exerts a toning effect on the cervix.
Nettle Leaf contains a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals that are critical to good reproductive health, including Vitamins A, C, D, K, Potassium, Phosphorous, Iron, and Sulfur. Nettle Leaf also contains Calcium – a mineral that affects a woman’s ability to conceive and maintain pregnancy.
If you are already under a doctor’s care and are taking medicine to help your cycle and fertility, you SHOULD NOT take these natural remedies as they can interact with the medicine your doctor has prescribed.

You may have heard, there has been an
ongoing debate about whether drinking coffee
(or other caffeinated beverages) can
cause a delay in getting pregnant.
Studies have been done and the
research is mixed--some conclude yes,
others conclude no.

Some studies now suggest that even
one cup of coffee per day can reduce
a woman's chances of getting pregnant
within a 12-month period by more
than 50%. Three cups a day, and the
odds drop by more than 175%.

Although the caffeine debate is far from
settled, Dr. Mark Leondires, M.D., Medical
Director at Reproductive Medicine Associates
of CT, encourages patients to stay on the
safe side and avoid caffeinated
beverages while trying to get pregnant.

I'd say that is excellent advice.* If you
are trying to get pregnant faster, or it
has been taking longer than you had hoped,
don't you think it's best to err on the
safe side and stay away from coffee?

If you're feeling depressed about the thought
of giving up your morning "fix", you should
know there are some other beverages that can
be a worthwhile substitute, as they actually
enhance your fertility.* One fabulous beverage
I already spoke about is water

also, I've said it before but don't drink decaf coffee. What they have to do to it to make it decaf makes it far worse for you. Decaf tea is fine

percent of a man's sperm are healthy enough to
fertilize an egg. Sperm can be especially vulnerable
to environmental factors, such as exposure to excessive
heat or toxic chemicals.

While I can't divulge all these secrets

Water.*

Drink lot's of it. Because, if you
drink 8 glasses of water a day, it will increase
your cervical fluid and make it, well...wetter.
And that, in turn, will help the sperm get to
where they need to be.
 
Hi there can anyone tell me about Soy Isoflavones? I have PCSO and don't have regular cycles and ovulation. I brought some Isoflavones they are called just Isoflavones from boots they are the boots brand, and ive started taking these as of yesterday 40mg one a day? Are they safe, to use? Can they help. Im also taking centrum Pregnancy care as they had a green box and the label saying good for conception also.

Im confused what shall I do. I see a lot of women mention they are taking Angus Castus for PCSO but not Soy Isoflavones?
