how long does it take for your hormones to truly go back to normal? i dont mean mood swings and stuff, i mean actual hormones iykwim? and also, when do i have my first period? its been six weeks cx
I was told that your hormones go back to normal after three months. I knew this coz I have a cyst n they said it should go when hormones return to normal - after three months. However my cyst is still there but that's something else lol !! Periods I think vary majorly. I didn't have one till he was about 9 weeks I think xx
I had my 1st period 8weeks PP.. I bled more than i did after giving birth.. It was horrible!
But from then and 6months on my periods r back to normal last 4-5days with a 27-28day cycle xx
I had my first period at around 6 weeks pp but I was told it takes a year to go back to normal! I feel a lot less hormonal now at 17 weeks pp but I still get really hot & sweaty (tmi!) & I just wish it would snow so I wouldn't be so bloody boiling all the time!! X
I think getting your period back and completely detox from pregnancy hormones is different. I've been told various times 9 months of pregnancy and 9 months after to feel normal again! 7,5 months on, I still get migraines, headaches, nausea ect..
I'm not sure about the hormones but I breast fed my first son and didn't have a period until just after a year when I stopped breast feeding completely x
