My 10 month old started with a cold 11 days ago and still has it... although I'm not sure if it might be two separate colds, as I seem to have it now but only the last 3 days myself. Is this normal? She doesn't have a fever, seems ok in herself, still smiling and playing but obviously feeling under the weather as she gets upset and clingy. She's not been eating much but plenty of breast milk and water. Poos have varied between normal to sloppy to green tinged... (I think the sloppy ones are more to do with having a lot of my milk again).
She's just bunged up all the time when trying to sleep and her nose streams during the day - constantly having to wipe it (or she wipes it on my shoulder, I have jumpers stiff with snot). Just don't know what I can do for her to make it better! I've tried the sucky bulb, which she hates, saline spray, damp flannel with olbas on radiator, vaporub, steamy bathroom... just feels like it's never going to end though :-(
My only hope is that now I have the cold I can make some antibodies for her through the milk!

Yep lol! My 13 week old has had a cold on/off for the last 3 weeks. Keeps getting better and worse again and me and OH have it too!
Have you used the calpol plug in? I think there is a snufflebabe dummies if she takes a dummy? You put the drops in it.
My baby hates that suck bulb too lol xx

Could it be hayfever? My husband and I have had to start taking tablets a good few weeks ago. Tree pollen in particular has been bad at this time of year. Our wee man was the same so weve started to give him liquid anti-histemine and ut all stopped! No runny nose or cough which was worse at night!

Thanks millielaura, I'll look out for those things! Hope you all get better soon too.
It's a good point laurat, I think tree pollen has been bad this year. Whatever I have is definitely feeling more like a cold though, can't even speak today!
