A Book inspired Name Game

Wirenth has inspired me... We like the same Author

After mentioning the book where her bubs name is from I have been reminded of something.

In that book, and other ones in the series, the names are combinations of parts of both parent's names (or someone important to the couple in some cases) so...

When I was younger I used to think up what my name could have been:

Marilyn & Terry = Rylyn, Mariy, Lynry

Now I wonder what OH and I could make...

SO far: Luala, Alcy, Cylan

What could you come up with....?

On the topic of names from books - I like the girls name Lyra from the northern lights trilogy by phillip pullman, my mum doesnt like it tho, thinks I'm strange!

Anne McCaffery has loads of lovely names, bit too out there for my OH to consider though lol

Killashandra, Kaltia, Tirla, Menolly, Elizara, Nerilka, Selora, Korianna, Damia, Laria for girls

Kindan, Larak, Jaythen, Isthian, Alemi, Jayge, Jeran for boys...

I can spend days reading her stuff lol

My OH and I want Mared for a girl - but can't really use it as one of my friends already called her little girl Mared.

It is an actual welsh name, but also combines OH's and my name Mark + Edwina. Other options we could have: Edwark, Mina, Marina.
