Hi

This is my first time posting but had to do something as I’m feeling so bad.
After trying for Baby number 2 for 3 and a half years I should be over the moon but All I can think about it the horrific heartburn, the exhaustion and complete lack of enthusiasm for anything!
Anybody else feel this horrible so early on? I don’t remember any of this with my first pregnancy, I am driving my poor husband up the wall!
Christmas has been a right off and I can’t even be bothered to wash my hair! 😩😩😩
I keep seeing posts that by 12 weeks it settles down I am just praying this is true haha..

Hi Looloot, congratulations on your pregnancy! Sorry you’re feeling rubbish. I can completely relate, I’m 8 1/2 weeks and I have spent most of Christmas in bed feeling lousy. I didn’t shower for 2 days and even didn’t brush my teeth one day! I feel really guilty for moaning as I feel that I should be so over the moon and grateful, which I definitely am. I think we just need to be kind to ourselves and just do what we can, when we can. Take it easy, and hope you feel better soon (roll on 2nd trimester!) xx

Yep!! We were ltttc for our daughter but I felt so horrendous with HG. didnt shower or brush my teeth for like a month and in hospital a couple times so i tltally relate to the feeling crap even though you wanted it so much. Its so miserable being stuck im bed ill so much :(. The exhaustion is crazg isnt it. I did feel better by around 14-16 weeks xxx

Me too! With my first two there was no sickness and only a little tiredness but I'm literally riddled with nausea and back pain this time! Only 9 weeks 3days so I'm praying too it gets better!

Totally relate. I'm exhausted. Sleeping til like noon, taking a nap through the day and still in bed by 9.30pm and can't get up the next morning.

I have 24/7 sickness, anti sickness tablets on the highest dosage but still can't function and I can barely find food to stomach in the first place then I keep throwing it back up :( I'm not even functioning as a human being and my mum keeps digging at me about how I don't seel excited or happy about this pregnancy. It's just hard to feel excited when firstly it's ages away til I'll have the baby and secondly I feel sub-human. Haha xx

I feel the same, it's awful isn't it. My stomach constantly feels churned up and the thought of food makes me gag. I'm only 6 weeks + 2, I hope this feeling doesn't last long. Did the doctor pescribe the anti sickness tablets? Sorry to hear they aren't overly helping. I'm going to the doctors today as I feel like I've had food poisoning... but then again maybe that's just being pregnant!? I don't know...my first pregnancy is a distant memory and I can't remember how I felt. But don't remember feeling this awful xx

I’m 7 weeks today and I’m feeling the same. It was my first day back in work in Tuesday and I wondering how I was even going to make it to work leg alone get through the day. Have you tried the anti sickness bands? Apparently these are meant to help.

Aww honey,

Try to be kind to yourself. There are lots of ladies on here who are feeling exactly the same so let it out! Dont be hard on yourself, its just not worth it xxx
