8 weeks postpartum and bleeding after sex

Hi I'm a little concerned me and my partner had sex for the first time about 7 weeks postpartum my lochia bleeding had stopped over a week beforehand and had my 6 week check. But when we had sex for the first time it was slightly painful and then I had spotting afterwards. We waited another week and same thing happened again. Is this normal has this happened to anyone else?
