Hi girls

Just after a bit of advice. I'm 8 weeks on and am still suffering the old ms (which is under control!!), but have today started to feel really tired. I have been really sensible in getting early nights (quite often 9 or 9.30pm), but I am still feeling tired. I am a bit concerned that my job might suffer as I can barely stay awake at work.

Is this part of the MS or is it something that is set to continue throughout the PG? Any advice would be greatly recieved.

Thanks

Vikki
xx

think i read that the tiredness lasts for the first tri and then kicks in again third tri, could be wrong but i dont think it continues throughout....

tiredness is common in first tri hun and can be a nightmare  should start to feel a bit better soon xxx

My tiredness started to pass about 16 weeks in. I'm still quite tired but no where near as much as before.

Yes, I was sooo tired in the first few weeks but when I got to the 2nd trimester it began to fade and I got more energy. I still get the odd knackered day though mind you, but then I think we all do!

I was actually most tired in the 2nd tri but my DH did point out that I barely moved in the 1st tri due to sickness

My tiredness disappeared at just over 12 weeks, it really is incredible how tired I felt in the first tri though. I was in bed very early each night which is unlike me.

I felt fantastic from 12.5 weeks onwards, I really enjoyed the 2nd trimester and only started to feel tired again at 32 weeks. I think that was because my iron levels had dropped quite a lot.

You're doing the right thing by listening to your body and resting as you need to. Hopefully, the tiredness will subside for you over the next few weeks.

It passes hun. Ive got Fibromyalgia and first few weeks I was soooo soooo tired, eased off around 12 weeks :)
