5 weeks 4 days ...bleeding

Hi ,
Last night before bed I noticed pinky blood on the tissue after going for a wee. No actual blood spots since but I can't help but worry. This is my 5th baby 😱 and I've never experienced this before. I've been so so poorly with this one...symptoms seem to be more exaggerated. I have had lower back pain and lots of pulling and achy period pains but nothing extremely painful. My last four pregnancy's were straight forward ..I had no sickness and I can't ever remember noticing any discomfort.
I rang the early pregnancy assessment clinic at the nearest hospital to me and I've been booked in for a early scan on Friday to check alls ok. I've been told to call back if I get more of a period type bleed.
I'm just praying all is fine, I'm just so worried 😏

Hi wooly sorry to hear this. Early pg bleeding can be very common and all is hopefully fine but you've done the right thing to call EPU. Fx for you and keep us updated. Try and find something to distract yourself over the next few days x

Hi candymycandy...I keep telling myself it's all normal, but I never had any at all with my others. Probably why it's worrying me so much. Scan tomorrow! Everything crossed that all will be fine. I don't expect to see much as I'll only be 6 weeks.
Will post an update.

Hi. I'm pregnant with my 4th, and experienced the same, then passed a clot a week later. Baby is ok, but seemed that it was the placenta implanting and can happen. Fingers cross all ok. Xxx

Oppsie completely forgot to reply...so I went for the scan..had to be internal unfortunately but all seems fine and everything is in the right place...measuring at 4 1/2 -5 weeks. But it was so small they can't detect a heartbeat yet. So I'm being re-scanned on good Friday.
The pink bleeding has stopped but still getting brown DC every now and then. I'm hoping it's just cervical bleeding as they said. Will keep you posted on my next scan x

I saw you already got checked, but just some reassurance.. i had bleeding with my first. Twice in the first trimester. She is now 5 years old. Sometimes it just happens with no explanation!

Thanks everyone...never had any bleeding with my other babies...really strange. Follow up scan is on Friday so I'm hoping to see a little heartbeat fluttering away xx

I had very similar previously. Had some pink when wiping when I was 5+5, had a scan and the baby was fine with a heart beat but there was a small area of "bleeding" in the uterus.

Had a scan 2 weeks later and baby had died horrid xx
