4D scan - Would you cancel?

When I was having my son, his dad came with me to the first scan then split with me a couple weeks later.

I went to the second scan with my nan.

Sons dad was a real arse hole while I was pregnant. But has turned out to be the best dad I could have hoped for.

My current OH could not make it to my first scan. So my sister came with me. It was as beautiful both times. As, the person with me was someone who loves my baby too

I bet he will want something to do with the baby. Men often say hurtful things when they are in turn cold mode. Things they later regret. If he sticks to what he says, it is his loss for sure. To want to turn your back on a miracle should be a mortal sin.

Hi,

Really hope he comes around for your baby - I reckon he will once he's had time to get over his hurt man pride - especially if you've been together a while and he shared the first part of your pregnancy with you. I'm sure he'll change his mind and want a relationship with the LO.

I just read your post to my OH and his reply was 'what a lovely bloke he is!!' Seriously, don't let him put you off. I do understand how you feel though. I would only like my mum or OH at my scan as well.

To Sarah2807, men are weird. When I got my first movements my OH just said 'wow' in the most boring tone ever before turning back to his PS2! Men don't understand it.

I do hope he comes around for the sake of the baby, not too sure if he will but he knows where I am if he changes his mind about baby.

For now im just going to look forward to my scan then meeting my little boy and if he changes his mind about baby then we will work something out

Not too long now for my scan though
