Hey girls, throughout this whole three years, through the ivf hubby has been amazing, never wobble, stayed strong and positive but today he is broken ;,(

All the news at the weekend and some additional important family stuff that appears to have been cross wires has been the final straw, I don't know what to do

I came home today and he said hi, said he loves me and he isn't mad at me but was taking himself to bed as he needs to be alone I went upstairs to give him a hug me he was in tears under the duvet, heartbreaking, all i want to do is wrap him up and hug him but I know he needs a bit of time to himself.

Sorry just sitting here feeling so helpless.

Oh honey, it takes it toll doesn't it, you poor hubby. We come here and talk and moan and compare and vent and get strength but our poor hubby's don't have anywhere to go do they. Men need their caves sometimes don't they, as long as he doesn't retreat there permanently you'll be ok, he'll emerge when he needs some love and cuddles. Big hugs to you xxx

Aw it's hard to see someone you love break down but it takes it's toll being strong all the time and he probably just needs to let it out. I hope he feels better tomorrow and can open up to you about how he's feeling. Sending hugs xxx

Hi Sarah sending big hugs your way, although our guys are strong it must be so hard for them to keep a brave face on, they have their own hopes to be a Dad and also I think they hate to see us go through so much and they feel like they can't fix it for us and men normally need to be able to find a solution. Also Dee is right - women are better at venting and this forum is great for offloading all our thoughts, men normally bottle it up, but it's still a rollercoaster ride for them. Hopefully letting the stress out and getting upset will help him destress and then he can share things with you Xxxx
