Honestly me n oh are fuming and totally disagree with it to the point I'm refusing to add him so I was wondering are we over reacting or do you agree this is just wrong?

My friend made her son one who was only born in march!
Their should be an age limit on Facebook!

There is you have to be 13 by Facebook rules but all you need to do is lie about dob

Ahhh it makes me so cross when people do that :( I know a number of people that have set up profiles for their kids :( x

4 is way too young.

There are a few in our family who have set up accounts :( One of them is only 7 and is upto god knows what, one has set up an account for her baby daughter and uses it to add pictures so her FB isnt flooded with baby pic's (which isnt too bad).

AJ wont be having a FB account until we say so and I dont think thats going to be under the age of 13. :)

Yes i do think it's too young. A girl i know had her 5yr old with an account! Another friend had one for theyre baby but they've deleted it now.

I made sure my oldest didn't sign up till he was 13 and i'll make sure the others follow suite too.

My friends son has one (6) but shows no pictures and plays games on it

:) Gosh my daughter is 5 and would not know what to do with it , i wouldn't allow it anyway , anything that may make her grow up too fast is restricted

I know someone who has accounts for their one month old daughter and four year old son .. weird

I don't think anyone under 16 should have any account on any social networking site. It's just not safe. Myspace was popular when I was at school and I was forbidden to open an account until I was 16. I didn't miss out on anything.

I think 4 is way too young, and I find it creepy when people make accounts for their babies, then again if his mum is ok with it I don't really think its your place to be fuming x

It's not just me that's fuming its his dad and he has the right to be.

Way too young. There are naked/rude pics which they shouldn't be seeing, also language etc, my sisters friend little girl has one, she is 9. Her mum is the only one that has the password, so C can't just log on when she wants, she has her aunties and cousins on it and plays the games like farmville etc x

Definitely too young! There are some real weirdos out there, how are they supposed to understand that people sometimes aren't who they say they are? Or that some people just want to do bad things? They shouldn't have to at that age if you ask me, the parents shouldn't put them in harms way or in a situation where that sort of worry would even be an issue in the first place.

If his mum;s not willing to do anything about this - maybe it would be a good idea to add him so you could keep an eye on whats happening in his account. xxx

Report the account 4 is way to young xx

i agree with elfs mummy! 4 is ridiculous! thought my cousins were young at 10!

I have an account for Thomas and he's two months old. He has nine friends, mainly relatives and good friends and two other babies. I post photos of him on there so they are not open to my 68 friends but just a select few. I hoping that by the time he's old enough to know what Facebook is, it will have fizzled out. Really it's just a bit of fun and i'm sure the novelty will wear off when I go back to work and don't have time to be logging in to mine and his account!

Hi franna I don't think it would be seen as so bad if his mum had it not his 11 year old brother I know lots of people who do it with babies for that reason. Oh and his profile is open to anyone.

I know someone who has one for her 2 year old son. And she has a pic of him on there. I find it really irresponsible and dodgy to be honest. Even if you set it to uber private if someone wants to see it desperately enough they'll just hack it. Internet is like paedophile central, why give them free bait? It's a bit sick imo.
