4 days overdue....feels like a lifetime!!!

Hi girls,

I am now 4 days overdue and it feels like a lifetime!! I know that some people go over by two weeks I hope I am not one of them! For the past week almost everynight I have had alot of pains very low down which I keep thinking could be it BUT NO.

Midwife said she is going to give me a "sweep" on Tuesday so hopefully that will start things off. Failing that, I am seeing the consultant next Friday so hopefully he will book me in to be induced.

Obviously, I would much prefer not to have to get that far and for my little angel to evacuate what must be very comfortable lodgings by him/herself...

Hi hun you must be well cheesed off im only nearly 38 weeks and ive started to get sick of being pregnant. Hope your baby comes of it own accord . My sister needed inducing and my Sister in law too they just feel comfy in their. Hope things get moving soon. Try DIY if you dont fancy induction. Rasberry leaf tea from herbalist shops helps relax your muscles they say helps start labour. Or Nipple stimulation they say or Fresh pineapple or Hot curry sex and doing squats try it all if u can. But he or she wont come till the oven Pings no matter what you try but it takes your mind off it a bit.Good luck hope you go soon naturally cross my fingers xx Paula n Bump

Been out tonight in a packed pub with everyone having a good time. I have a good time for a while then I get bored of people talking about pregnancy and making silly comments. I also get fed up of not having a drink (and a flirt ). BUT....they haven't got what I have got...a little miracle made by me and DH and a lifetime of love and happiness ahead watching my little star grow up xxx Can't wait now!!! (also can't wait for a glass (or six) of wine in my conservatory as me and DH used to do!!!!!

i know how you feel. i was 10 days overdue with mt first baby 6 with my second and the third came bang on due date.

Try and use the extra days to rest and try and enjoy it. Go to the cinema or out for a meal coz you won't be able to once the babies here.

I think that is what I am going to do - just get on with it. When it happens, it happens! For some strange reason I feel as though it is going to happen in the night!?! Where really, I hope I start in the day...everything seems better in the day (apart from the traffic!)
