Hi
I'm 15 weeks into my third pregnancy and I want to know from any other mums if labour gets any easier along the way...? I know, I'm a wuss, which is really why I am asking, but I'd love to know other people's stories. It's 9 years since my last birth and I have become an information junkie! My midwife said all are different, and I know that's going to be the case, coz my first two were, but when I had my youngest there were no forums like this so it seems a shame for me not to ask and check things out with everyone! It's great!

not sure darl' as i havent had one baby never mind three .....

i just wanted to congratulate you on your pregnancy and hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months    :cheer: :cheer:

im on my third pregnancy as well!!! there is a 9 year gap between my other 2, 2nd time round the birth was horrible..... long and painful.. my 2nd child is 17 months old so hopefully this birth will not be so bad, fingers crossed. im a big wimp though so i will be on every drug going i try and get myself mentally prepared but it goes out the window as soon as them contractions come thick and fast  think its different with all women some will say its easier some wont. xx

hi , im on my third pregnany too, but with my last baby, which was eight years ago, the labour was only 1 hour, so i am just hoping and praying that they do not get any quicker. having a baby in an hour is very scary and in my first which took 7 hours i felt much more in control. Also when you have a baby really fast you dont get any opportunity for pain relief
I hope your labour is shorter this time and easier but i am hoping mine to be longer and harder.
I am also enjoying using this forum to share information and stories with everyone it is much nicer and more real than sticking your hed into a pregnancy book.
Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes great
blue

im on my 4th baby, with my 3rd baby labour was really fast compared to the oth two, my first labour was 10 hours, 2nd was 7 hours and my 3rd was 2 hours!!!! so in my case my labours got shorter each time!!!!
i think my 3rd was more painfull but was easier because i only had to push twice and he was out lol

I'm on n. 3 too! First was pretty bad - fourteen hours and ended in forceps - not funny, second was really easy - only two hours. If there is a progression in time, maybe I should just camp at the hospital for the last week!

i'm like sarah113 this is my 4th and my third was a fast labour and altho pretty painful it was over before i could be too much of a wimp about it :D

hope this one doesnt get any quicker tho i'll be havin it in the car lol!

Hi

I'm also on number three and my first was 19hrs, my second in 2 and a half hrs(contractions before waters broke where nothing to speak of), so i'm hoping that i really do have another fast and furious, i want a home-birth.I'd rather get it over and done with :D

Hey Sarah, I'm also having my 3rd. Jamie, my first, was 36 hours and an awful experience of labour, with Rachael, i was down to 12 hours in total, only 4 hours of intense pain and 20 mins of pushing!! But its been 4 years since i've given birth and i'm s**ting it bigtime!!!! I'm hoping it gets easier!!
