39wk midwife app

So I have my 39 week midwife app at 11 and I'm going to beg her for a sweep! Not sure if she will do it as the policy is the 40week app but I'm actually 39+3 today and my next app won't be till 40+3 so I'm really hoping she is in a good mood haha!

Also hoping my blood pressure is ok today as hubby had some bad news regarding his job last night which has left us up shit creek without a paddle!

Thanks ladies having a few tightenings but nothing major yet so I'm not getting my hopes up!

Yes she said it was a positive sweep thaty cervix was central and soft but still long?!? I have no idea what this means so if anyone does that would be great!! Ha! She also said I was 1-2cm and she was able to touch babies head!

Also for anyone who is interested it didn't hurt one little bit

Oh how exciting that she could touch babies head!!
Cervix being long means it just hadnt moved much. Your cervix is a tube about 3cm long. It has to shrink it's self and open up to 10 cm?
If that makes sense?
