39 weeks food poisoning?

Hi ladies I'm so so ill right now its just come over me in the last hour, I have been to the toilet 3x in the last hour. Tmi its very loose and runny. I also feel "off" and my tummy is swirling.

We had chicken for dinner around 5.30 but hubby cooks well and it wasnt raw etc..does this sound like food.poisoning? What shall I do? Xxx

Your body often has a 'clear out' before labour starts - could be that.

My friend thought she had food poisoning 4 days overdue, she had diorrhea, stomach cramps and felt sick. Stayed in bath for a couple of hours then felt her waters pop - when she got to hospital she was already 9cms & baby was born within a couple of hours! X

Having had salmonella once from chicken it would be a lot more than just a few loose bowel movements if it was that so I really wouldn't worry.

Could be another one of those pleasant pregnancy things ready for labour or may just be that your dinner has not sat right but won't be actual food poisoning. X

My little sister spent the whole morning on the loo before going into labour that day. I didn't get it but it's super common. Fingers crossed!

I was quite violently sick around 39 weeks pregnant. No idea what caused it, I guess it was one of those pregnancy things.

Same happened to me actually 4,5 days before labour i was emptying my bowels much more and twice just before my labour began
