I had my 35 week scan on Wednesday, and after quite a lengthy scan the doctor let me know she wasn't happy with the amount of fluid around the baby and that she wouldn't be expecting my placenta to look the way it does for another few weeks, had to go to a doctor for a second opinion on a better machine.. Other doc agreed and told me I have to come back every week and if I pass any fluid or if baby isn't moving as much to go staight down.. I know they have to say that but now I'm waiting for every bit of movement worrying myself, some of you might remember I came on in a bit of a fluster a few weeks ago when I had a gush of fluid.. So now I'm convinced this has something to do with it.. If doc isnt happy by the next scan (Wed) I will be brought in to be monitered.. Keep everything crossed for me please ladies.. Has anyone else had this?

I haven't hun but all my lo's were born at 35 weeks and below

If bubs needs to get out, it might be better than keeping him/her in. I would imagine that gush a while back had something to do with it, you poor thing are you ok? xoxoxo

If I don't reply straight away I'm in bed, should have went an hour ago

I know its awful to even think like this but I'm saying to myself I would love to be brought in and started because if something wasn't right and I didnt pick up on it I would never be able to forgive myself, tbh I don't think I will last to Wednesday, I think I will ask for a quick check just to put my mind at rest  Scan was the day before NYE so unfortunatly not a very good start to the year :( Hoping everything will look up from here on in though xx

Sorry I have no experience of this but keeping everything crossed for you  At least it's been picked up now and they're keeping a close eye on you x

I agree at least it has been picked up on and they will monitor it. I'm sorry I have no experience thou

At least they're on it and bubs is pretty much cooked now :)

keep us updated, im sure everything will be fine hun

xx

no advice but @hug: and at least the right people are keeping an eye :flower:

 As the other ladies have said, at least they've picked up on it and are keeping an eye on you xx

Good luck I wish you all the best- hope you get another scan asap xx

I hope everything looks ok at your next scan  xx

Go whenever you feel the need hun, must be awful having to wait :(

But rest assured bubs would be in good shape now if they were to need to come early

Thanks girls  Have had a look on google (dont shout:lol:) Other girls who had the same problem were brought in early.. So could be "JanMum2Be" instead.. Roll on Wednesday if I can hold out xx

Big  I'm so glad that you're being monitored and just  that bubba holds on in there for a while longer. xxxx

Thanks for remembering Mamafy .. A little update, went to app.. Waited an hour to be seen all of 5 minutes.. He didn't even measure the fluid and said it was normal and the placenta is in stage 2 not stage 3, I am so confused and weepy from the app:cry:I just don't know what to believe.. He didn't write any measurements of the baby in my notes.. Just "36" under everything for 36 weeks.. Also my baby has been on the smaller side (not anything to worry about just a smaller baby) the whole way through, and he said oh you are having a big baby.. I am just so confused and annoyed.. OH wanted a second opinion but over the past week we have had 3 different doctors, all say my placenta is well further on and the liquid is low.. It was the most careless scan I have ever had and now have to wait another week with no answers or idea of what's really going on  Just fed up now.. I feel like he didn't even make an effort.. Didn't ask anything about anything, but I was a bit upset and just wanted to go home.. Kicking myself now I didn't stand my ground and ask everything I am now thinking

Aww im so sorry your feeling like this and that the docs have made u to feel that they dont care and are not givin you the time you need to discuss these important issues.....

I dont really have any advice but just wanted to say i hope your ok hun

xx

Awww no

If you're worried hun see your mw and explain to her, perhaps she could get you booked in again this week?

I hated appointements like that :(

Im sorry that the scan didnt go as planned for you wished it had :( x

I'm left sat here feeling I would have been more content not going to the app.. It's not even close to what they're both saying.. 2 completly different opinions, who to believe? We went down on Monday night and waited 5 hours to be seen because I was having pains and was a bit anxious.. The doctor was the only one on and made me feel like I was the only person in the hospital, not rushed in anyway.. He also agreed that the fluid and placenta wernt up to scratch.. Bloody doctors :(
