2yo whimpering in sleep...?

So... I've said before how DS has always been a good sleeper.

We have a new habit now.

Every ~45 mins after going to sleep, he'll randomly whimper/cry.

No tears.
Occasional waking but usually still asleep.

He cries out, I get up, go to his room, pat his nappy, shush him, and he goes right back to sleep.
Whole thing takes two minutes.

Every 45mins from around 7pm to 2/3am.

The heck is this? Xx

No ideas, but my two year old has recently been very restless at night. I'd put it down to the baby disturbing him though?

ETA He's two and two months so similar to your LO.
