2nd Scan & another Sac that wasnt there before

Hey girlies, just thought I would post my updates on whats happening with my pregnancy so far.

I went for my 2nd scan today (at 7wks 1day) & saw heartbeat for 1st time. I'm absolutely over the moon that this little bean seems to be growing well.

But they also found a second sac which wasn't there on my 5wk scan, dunno what it is, but it's empty with not even a yolk sac inside. Dunno if it's a twin that didn't make it or just a small blood-clot. They said not to worry about it too much though.

Has anyone else had this happen to them before ? & If so, what was it and what happened ?

My OH and I do have a history of twins in our family, but this is just confusing the heck out of me because surely if it was twins it would have shown up on my 1st scan. x

bit hard to say really but if u got twins in family then like u said one that aint made it x
