Midwife says I'm bang on with dates couldn't feel head but said baby was head down, kicks come from middle of my bump is it likely baby is engaged this early?

I'd imagine they were punches rather than kicks That's where I was being punched at 28weeks!

Just because little one is head down doesn't mean it is engaged. My last appt baby was head down but still 'free'. My mum was 5/5ths engaged with me at 32 weeks! I turned up 2 days early. Got my 33/34 week appt in 20min's. Wish me luck!

mine was laying head down too but she said head down but not engaged, might just be the way little un's lying

Yes measured and am measuring 27.5 so spot on.

Yes I was jusy wondering as been feeling a lot of pressure down there but would be suprised if I was engaged as its nothing like my previous pregnancy.

My midwife didn't measure me at all, infact didn't do a lot apart from check my wee!
