21 day bloods. Advice please.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb ass question....

AF showed up at 10pm last night. So, do I count yesterday as CD1 or today? Gotta book blood test based on this.

I must be so silly but i have no idea.
Would you not count first day of AF as cycle day 1 even though if it was in the evening?

Do you know when you OV hun as really you only have them on CD 21 when you have a 28 day cycle, otherwise 7 days after you OV.

I would count the day it starts as cycle day 1 no matter what time it starts at but whether that is technically correct, I dunno.

When I went to have them done, the consultant at he hosp said although they arer called "day 21 bloods", the higher reading they are looking for will be present for a couple of days, so I'm not sure being a day out would really matter. I guess "20-22 day bloods" just isn't as catchy a name, or as maybe puts it "day 6-8 after ov bloods".

I saw the doctor about this yesterday - she said 1st day of AF was day 1 x
