Ok, so we're all waiting to try for a baby, but what other lovely things do you have to look forward to in 2014?

We're off to Euro Disney in May and I'm really looking forward to that! I haven't told my 4 year old dd, and we plan on telling her when we get there.

DD is starting school in September.

I'm praying for a nice summer so we can spend loads of time in the garden and having family days out at the beach/farm/park etc.

Yay bet your daughter will love disney world it's so magical as a child :)

Currently I've got a few things going on..moving house, starting a new job eeek and fingers crossed being able to get preggers again ...I reckon I might bugger off around Europe next time I have maternity leave for a year why the hell not ..so yes I'd better save up for that too :D

This year I am looking forward to OH's divorce being finalised - man that has taken a long time! Finally he'll be all mine properly and not just 'separated'.

We have some cycling and camping trips with friends booked one of which is in the french alps so really looking forward to that.

I've also got my fingers crossed for a little holiday of our own, but won't be holding my breath as I asked for one last year, even offered to book and pay for it, then another cycling event happened and alas we never did get to have a just us holiday. Still, one can hope!

Thanks for this post. Really needed to think about some good things I can look forward to :) x

I just felt a bit like I was wishing my life away! So I knew there would be some good things this year other than another baby! Could you book something as a surprise Madsticks? Staceymo - your year sounds very stressful! Although I love moving house! Ha ha! We moved 3 years ago and I have itchy feet - I've already got my eye on the estate and house style I want! Just need to save some money for the deposit!

I am so excited for this year.

March- My sons birthday party/christening tomorrow (turns 2 on Tuesday)
April- My hen/birthday weekend
May- Getting married
June- come off pill to prepare body
August- Going on holiday (Great Yarmouth)
September- Going abroad and baby making begins in same month

Writing this downs makes me realise I need something for July! :)

Ooh good idea!

March - nothing, but we're half way through so I'm fine with that! Lol!
April - Visiting relatives for Easter so lots of fun activities planned with the kids
May - Euro Disney & DS will be 2
June - Menorca
July - Not sure yet - need to plan something!
August - my bday
Sept - DD starts school & DS starts nursery.
Oct - Half term, will need to plan something
Nov - Me & DHs annual night away (thinking of Edinburgh this year!)
Dec - DD 5 & Xmas & TTC

So need something for July & October!!

Hello Ladies, what a good idea - something to take our mind off "you know what" haha
I have a couple of holidays planned and some other bits and pieces, so will list them out below :)

March - Lose 1 stone
April - Lose 1 stone and holiday to Mexico for 2 weeks (yay!)
May - Sell my house that I still own with ex-husband
June - My birthday and holiday to Egypt for a week with the girls
July - Nothing planned as yet....?
August - Get divorced
September - TTC!!!!!!!!!!!!
October - Great South Run booked.....(Im sure I wont get my BFP before this time anyway)

So I need to find something to occupy my time in July... :) Sept doesnt seem so far away when I write it down like this

Maybe July I could spend some time ensuring all my finances are in order for TTC and my divorce!

I like this, let's see

April: Not much going on, Hubby is off to France with his Bike club at Easter so will be waiting for him to come home and we can do a little egg-hunt in the garden with LO
May: My parents come to visit us and spend some time with LO
June: LO's Christening, my sister and her family will visit and we'll go lots of places with the 3 girls (Legoland, Theme parks, Longleat.. the list goes on)
July: Butlins holiday in Devon and visiting in-laws
August: :ttc::bd: and hopefully :bedjump::bfp:

Not long now at all.

We're not TTC til march 2015 so 2014 might feel like a drag for me but....

First Mother's Day in march
My birthday in April
OH birthday in June
Big family holiday in June
Bridesmaid in July
LO Flower girl to SIL in sept
10 year anniversary in nov
And Xmas (obviously!) and lo will be 17 months so hopefully loving it!

So a busy year but I'm hoping it goes fast! How silly of me! Xx

I'm losing weight at the moment and weigh in every Friday, which means there's only 2 weigh ins left in March. Measuring my months in weigh ins, is making them fly by! But I am enjoying it all! We must enjoy this time as much as possible, because we'll blink and miss it!

I found my something for July, the 10k race for life :) and this will help prepare me for the great south run in Oct too!!
So my list is now as follows (and updated to include any changes made):

March - Lose 1 stone (had my first weigh in today on Cambridge and lost 10lbs, yay! So I will hopefully achieve this goal)
April - Lose 1 stone and holiday to Mexico for 2 weeks (yay!)
May - Sell my house that I currently rent out & lose 1 stone
June - My birthday and holiday to Egypt for a week with the girls (yay!)
July - Booked in for the 10k race for life in Southsea, will need to get training as soon as I am back from my hols
August - Get divorced
September - TTC!!!!!!!!!!!!
October - Great South Run booked.....(Im sure I wont get my BFP before this time anyway)

Looking at the above, I realised what a busy few months I have ahead of me! Which is great!! Takes my mind off of WTT and hopefully it will be here before I know it :ttc::dust::bfp:

I have another item to add to May, a weight loss challenge for me, to cycle 1000 miles in the 31 days of May!!! haha - crazy.....! But I love a challenge and I think it will be for weight loss/toning and something for me to focus on!

Oh it's great to keep our months busy! To think it's almost the end of March, that's crazy...we're 3 months into the year already!

Ouuuch 1000 miles! Good luck vixx!

We have a holiday booked the end of May, I was originally going to go scuba diving, then got a bfp, but had a mmc at 12 week's. Don't know if I should take some time off ttc and enjoy the holiday (can't scuba dive while pregnant) or ttc and just sunbathe and mess about with ds all week.
I'd like to go diving but I already thought I wasn't going to be able too and am so impatient, I want a babyyyyyyy lol x

Holly so sorry to hear about your mmc, it must be heartbreaking.
We're in a similar situation I am a scuba diver too, we're going to Egypt diving at the end of May and agreed to start to try then, as I don't think the diving will affect things so early on, but also means I can't get preggers before and I'm so impatient and desperate for a BFP, but it's kind of a good thing, being forced to wait as it means I can sort out my weight and financed before hand.

Vice 1000 miles is awesome, I love all the monthly challenges you give yourself :)

Where abouts are you off too? We did a liveaboard last June, the thistlegorm is absolutely amazing. We only got one dive in there because the sea was a bit lumpy. El gouna is quite nice too.

I really don't know what to do. My ds will be 5 In May so there's going to be a massive gap anyway.

Hope you guys have a great holiday :)

Vixx - 1000 miles? You are an inspiration my lady. :hugs::thumbup:

June - I think it is a great idea to start trying on your holiday and you get to do the diving, I am jealous. Usually people on holidays get preggers because they are so relaxed so get humping and we would like to see your :bfp:

Holly - 5 years gap is not much at all. You will see that he will be more inclined to share his things because he understands what a little sibling is. Of course it is your choice but I think 5/6 years is not bad at all. He will love being a big brother.

Thanks Holly, I have a feeling Im going to need it! Im just so desperate to get a great body before pregnancy so that 1) I can carry my baby better and hopefully not suffer so much (wishful thinking?!?!?) and 2) I will hopefully not put on as much weight during pregnancy and my body will hopefully bounce back quicker??? and besides I love a challenge :) its what gets me through the months!! haha
Im so sorry to hear about your mmc :hugs: its totally up to you what you choose to do but if it were me I would probably take some time off, relax and enjoy your holiday, it might be the last one you get for a while!!! :)

Thanks J!! Its whats getting me through the months, I started them in Jan and when I think back, the time has flown by, so it must be working!!

Aww thanks Kat, I know Im crazy, but I do love a challenge :)

Kats totally right about people taking time to relax and chill before TTC, this is when a lot of people fall pregnant, so hopefully it will result in a BFP for you!!!
