20 week scan

do you have to have a full bladder at the 20 week scan
i can't remember and i want the pics to look good

The hospital told me yes and i had to drink one and a half litres an hour before the scan, but when i had my scan at babybond they asked me to empty it and the pictures were way clearer, i suggest going with a full one and then if you need to you can always empty there

I think they were naughty because I know your meant too.

I'm told I don't need a full bladder at the 20-week scan, as long as its not empty

i was told to drink a pint of water an hour before and it was fine at the scan x

i called the scan department and they said drink a pint of water and if there is too much i can empty my bladder if needs be
