20 week scan

Hi girls, hope you're all well.
I've got my 20 week scan on Thursday at 4.30.
I'd completely forgotten all about it and luckily rang and checked this morning!
Anyway, hope the sonographer we get this time is nicer than the last old boot.
Hope I get a better picture too!
Anyone else got their scan on Thursday? xxxx

Well remembered! I'm sure you'll get a nicer sonograher and better pictures, the odds of ending up with the same people twice seem pretty unlikely (at least where I am).
Got my scan today and currently having the constant irrational fears lol.
Fingers crossed for a better scan for you on Thursday, looking forward to seeing some pics

Do you think? I think it's dragging a bit. Helps that I can't see tickers, that really would slow it down.

Mine is a week today and I am so excited already.

I'd love to get the same sonographer as before - she was a darling and so thorough. It just goes to show though hoe for some of them it is a just a job?

Good luck for Thursday Cos, and Sarah for today I had a bit of an old bag on Thursday last week at mine. She sat in silence for the whole thing and didnt include me in anything. This was our 5th scan and I was so dissappointed to not be able to see anything. Thankfully the others did tho and I got a 1 minute run down at the end of the 40 mins. Grrrr. I hoped to get the same sonographer as the previous 4 times as I felt as thought I had been on the journey with her!!!

Yeah for some I'm sure it is "just a job" and not one they seem to enjoy!
I understand that they have to get all of their measurements etc but a bit of chit chat and a smiley face never did anyone any harm, especially as some ladies may be very nervous x

She made me worse. I eyeballed her the whole time and thought she may crack that way but nope! No interaction. That's me had my full quota of scans unless they say I need a growth scan. Roll on the next 17 weeks!! Xx

They get on my wick when they are like that, it's so rude and ruins an experience that ladies look forward to! grrr x

I got my 20 week scan on Wednesday!! I think NavyLouise is the same scan day as you, she is due the same day as me. I hope it goes really well and you get a lovely sonographer!! xxx
