20 week scan tomorrow

and i am really excited! usually i am dead nervous but i am trying to stay positive and upbeat about it all, i am not gonna find out the sex cos i think that spoils the surprise, i havent had the triple test either so thats at the back of my mind just in case something comes up, i am going without my oh aswell as he is away on a footy trip so i am taking my son and daughter (16 and 12) so they are getting excited too, my daughter has just come down complaining she cant sleep thinking about seeing the baby on the screen, we have to wait til 3.40 though, it seems ages away, i just know the day is going to drag!

Good luck with the scan, I was so nervous before mine incase anything was wrong but as soon as she started the scan and saying things like "perfect" and "beautiful" etc I started to relax...phew! Dont focus on the gender thing too much you might get in there and suddenly change your mind about knowing....the thing I always kept in my head is that your either going to have a surprise at 20 weeks during the scan (and can then get organised with clothing etc) or a surprise at 40 weeks when you give birth and still have the organising of colours etc to do. I couldn't wait, I was so desperate to know I had a private gender scan at 16 weeks!! The 20 week scan just confirmed the 16 week results which was great as between 16 and 20 weeks I'd managed to buy my little man just about every outfit in the current Next Directory!!!

Good luck Everything will be fine and it will be so amazing I was really excited until the morning of the scan and reality hit and then I was really nervous and then saw LO and felt silly for worrying!

Just remember to get back on here and let everyone know how it went unlike me who caused a major panic

Good luck with the scan - and well done for not finding out the sex. I want to keep mine a surprise too. That's nice that the kids are going with you - they'll find it an amazing experience. Remember to post pics xx

Good luck for your scan and well done on not finding out it will be a great surprise, we have not found out what our baby is either and can't wait for the surprise at the end and seeing for myself what baby is, we also have out 4D scan next saturday and still wont be asking
