2 Weeks Left ( Or 3 )

Was at consultant appointment today
Am 37+6 Last baby was section due to
small for dates,low fluid and breech presentation.
This one is on track for a normal delivery
due 31st
Have been provisionally booked in for a section
and sterilisation on the 8th feb.
( Doc has said from the beginning that I have not to be induced
if i go over dates )
Always thought i wanted another section but now think
I'd rather go before dates and try normal delivery.
Dont think I can wait 3 weeks for baby to appear.
What would you girls rather have??

I have the option of natural or section.

I have to see my consultant again at 34 weeks to decide what we are doing.

Personally, I'm hoping to do natural this time, I know I don't want to do a section again if I can help it .

i had section with my 1st, lots of problems durng labour, and when i was pregnant with my 2nd all i wanted was a natural labour, i laboursed for hours and hours with sophie and even pushed but she never came out, and i want to feel what it was like to push a baby out to have the baby straight on ur chest etc all the things u dont get with a section. My doctor would not even let me try for a natural birth i had to have a section 2nd time round, plus alastair was breech anyway, so hun if u get a chance and fell happy going for it i would say yes

believe me natural isn't fun had it with the pair of mine although with Conal they only realised i was in labour at 7cm so had gas and air for 2 contractions

good luck either way, you forget the pain as soon as it's over(apparently)
