Hi everyone!

I had a miscarriage last month and I am currently having my second one.
When could I try again?

Thoughts?

I'm so sorry for your loss hun.

I've just gone through my second mmc.

I had an erpc 11 days ago and we'll start trying again from next week!!

My bleeding has pretty much gone so we'll be straight back to it.

I was advised after my first mc to have at least one period before ttc again, so that the new pregnancy can be easily dated. We aren't waiting though. We'll probably ntnp for a while until my inner crazy ttc lady takes over again!

As much as I'm terrified of another loss, I want another baby so badly and I don't want to waste any more time. We've already been at it for 16 months!

Same as Emily I tried straight away.
My last 2 losses I have caught again 2nd cycle. I'm praying its 3rd time lucky that will happen again.
Like Emily I've been trying 16 months as well.

Best of luck hope we all get bfps again soon.

Xxx

Hi,

I had three miscarriages I'm a row and the third was a missed one and caused me severe ill health and blood loss that was November and I am still not right now. I'm currently under going tests and a specialist advised me that even tho Drs say u can straight away it can take up to 6months to return to normal, he said they believe trying too soon can impact on future pregnancies. he is a gynaecological consultant, so he is well informed. But on the other hand I know someone who waited for 2 months after a second miscarriage and is now happily pregnant xx

Thanks girls! I think I might give it a miss this month and will try again next month.I am sorry to hear about all your losses :(

Going through my second in a row to :( unfortunately it's not as easy for me to try again as I need to get my pcos controlled and have tests etc. Not Oving as I should so likely won't ov until may now :/
We was in the October mummies thread together.
I really hope you get your sticky bfp soon xx

Ow no peanutbutter! I am so sorry! It feels so unfair doesn't it :( look after yourself hun! I will keep my fingers crossed for your bfp too!

Hi I had 3 in a row all early on I missed a month not by choice just didn't get pregnant then got pregnant second month and I'm 11weend now and everything seems ok fingers crossed the only thing I did different was missed a months I I'm guessing my body had a good clear out took prenatal vitamins and baby aspirin which I have self prescribed my consultant did say he wouldn't advise to take it unless there was a problem but he never got back to me about my recurrent miscarriage blood tests so I felt I had to do something when finding out I was pregnant again! It's an awful feeling and I was at rock bottom but just believe eventually you will have a baby xx

I am sorry for your loss. I stumbled across these articles: momjunction com/articles/chemical-pregnancy-and-ivf_00390163/ and steadyhealth com/articles/infertility-problems-trying-to-conceive-after-a-miscarriage
Hope it helps

You van buy it from superdrugs pharmacy, I bought it too and I am debating to take it or not as it can also cause miscarriage I read online.

I wouldn't take asprin unless you have had tests that show a problem it can help with. It can cause mc as well as prevent it depending on your individual problem.

My fertility consultant told us to start our fertility treatment straight after our second mc, so he obviously didn't think there was an issue with ttc so soon afterwards. I think go with how you are feeling, for me the emotional side of mc has been worse than the physical in terms of recovery. Ttc straight away helped me I think. It takes us years to conceive though, so it isn't like we can afford to miss a chance.

I took the aspirin as I'd read so many positive stories and read that it won't do any harm which the consultant told me but didn't want to advise it I don't know if it helped but Im where I am today and I was so low I needed to do something for my sanity. Iv got to go back to the consultant to tell me wether to stop or not as the midwife didn't want to tell me to stop as she said it could be helping me.. Not sure what the consultant will say to me but hey ho! Do what you've got to do to make you feel better xx

I am still debating, I would love to give it a go but don't want to do harm. Did your doctor say it would do no harm? And are you taking 75 mg a day? And when did you start? Sorry for all my questions lol

He said it wouldn't do any harm he just didn't advise it if I didn't have a problem. I started taking it when I got my bfp and yes it's the 75mg dispersible aspirin I got them from boots 100 in a pot.xx

I had an eptopic in January last year and had to have a tube out.
Finally fell pregnant again but lost pregnancy at 6 weeks on 7th Nov 2015, I Got another positive on 14th December although I knew on the 11th. It was definitely a new pregnancy. The hospital have said I got pregnant straight after. We were having sex as soon as I stopped bleeding. I'm now 16 weeks. It was really hard, but it can happen at any time.

Hospital did actually advise to wait a month before having unprotected sex but I have since been told that is so they can date pregnancy properly.

good luck and lots of positive thoughts for you
