2 Days Late now spotting!

What test did you use to get the negative ? I had all the symptoms you’ve had & just knew I was over a week ago & sure enough I am. Had negatives cheapies & a negative clear blue digital last Sunday (clearly way to early to test) but had obvious positive frer on Wednesday & 1-2 weeks on CB digital yesterday so it could simply be that your HCG levels need to increase same as mine did. Sending baby dust xx

Thanks Hun... I just used cheapies... have a clear blue digital sitting there but heard they aren’t great... if this spotting doesn’t turn into anything more I’ll try a FR tomorrow...
I don’t know if because having twins first pregnancy & double the hormone I was kinda expecting the same sort of thing but now I’m starting to think it literally was double the hormone so will show quicker 🤷🏼*♀️ I don’t know fingers crossed!!

CB Digi is definitely more reliable than the internet cheapies hun but i would only use a digi once i got a positive on a FRER x

I may just do the CB digi in the morning seen as though it’s sat there & I can do first morning wee.. thanks for your advise xx

I was just taking folic acid originally.. cos that’s what I took when I started trying with the boys.. with Jack & Freddie I had my implant took out in January pregnant in February.. I was 24 then... I’m now 32 & thinking my age is what’s making it take so long... my partner had a semen analysis I had blood work & all ok so I guess it’s just takin it’s time 😩 x

How are you tracking your ovulation if you don’t mind me asking? Are you using ovulation tests and checking for fertile cervical mucous etc? (I know that sounds gross by the way!) x

I use an ovulation app & OPKs I was using the CBFM but found it so costly & not much use to be honest.. wouldn’t have a clue where to start on the mucus & temping but probs worth looking into!!x

Yeah the cheap opks work brilliantly for some people, no need to spend a fortune on clearblue, Checking cervical mucus is easily - the more clear and stretchy it is the more fertile you are, are you managing to get the deed done much over your fertile window? I hope you catch soon all you can do is keep trying! Good luck x

We were everyday over the week I was fertile which resulted in nothing for the first 10 month so we’ve started that sperm meets egg theory of every other day... just keep plodding on I suppose thanks xxx

I’m guessing AF is here... just been the loo & there’s was some clots.. which is odd for me I suppose I’ve just had a weird month... urgh out on this month then!!

Definitely dont count your age as a factor - both my partner and i are 31 and caught the second cycle.

I would get yourself some internet cheapy opks, they were a god send for me and really helped pin point when ovulation was and i could also tell from my ewcm when i was ovulating as i would just notice a bit in my undies, i would sadly get excited as i knew it was time, so with opks and ewcm, you know you are good to go. I honestly dont think you need to do much more than that, but i know when you have been going for as long as you have, you will almost try anything.

Thanks Hun... yeah I use the OPKs & tend to get ovulation pains... Im pleased there’s hope for me age wise... getting bad crampy pains now 🙄 but at least we can start preparing for this cycle now!xx

I had a strange cycle like that also about 13 months into ttc! I started spotting on cycle day 26 (usually cycles are 26-29 days), had spotting every day until I was a week late. I did get a very light 2nd line on a test but it didn’t appear until 10 minutes after I’d done it, so I was never sure if it was a chemical or just one of them odd cycles that people get from time to time!
