1st Visit

Hiya

I am really nervous has i have my first appointment with my midwife on Monday .

So i was wondering if anyone could please tell me what will happen on the first visit .

Also i have an appointment with the antenatal clinic on the same day of which i don't know what that is for i can only presume its got something to do with my diabetes has the doctor said about my diabetes and then went straight on to the antenatal clinic .

If anyone can help with that one aswell it would be much appreciated.

Can't tell you what is going to happen...I am going for my first midwife app on Monday too!!

I had my first appointment at 10 weeks. It lasted about an hour, had to fill in forms, blood samples taken, blood pressure & weight & height etc... That's the booking in appointment. At some places I think you have a brief 'hello' appointment before that just to introduce the midwife and see how you're feeling / work out dates.

Can't help with the diabetes I'm afraid.
