1St time with opks. few questions

Hey all

iv started to do my first round of opks. i did my 1st today as ovulation calender says im due to ovulate in 4 days, but have a few questions.

1. should i let my urine cool down 1st?
2. whats usually the best time of day to take them?
3. i had a very faint line on 2 today, would that be the start of my surge?

when i started doing opks i did them from the first day af stopped as i wasnt sure when i would ov. I dont think many ladies wait for it to cool down but you can if you want to. I normally test with fmu and in the evening although the evening time is when lh is stronger. if your starting to get lines keep an eye on them as for it to be a pos opk it needs to be as strong as the control line. I would bd every other day if you can to maximize your chances. good luck xxxxx

i didn't manage to get any to start at the end of ad due to lack of money. im on cd13 today but have had irregular afs this year (41, 31, 33, 30, 42) the 41 days and 42 days i may have been preg but it didn't stick, bfns tho.

fingers crossed its the start of my surge. thank you again x
