1st midwife appt for us tomorrow

Just a couple of questions please - Do they actually confirm i am pregnant? We did a test but would like somebody official to confirm it just in case we got it totally wrong! Also does anyone know roughly how long the appointment should take? And if my dates are right i will be 12 weeks the day before xmas eve so what are the chances of getting a scan in before xmas? Thanks for any help

They didn't confirm if i was pregnant. The appointment lasted about 45 minutes for me and was just boring form filling. Hope it all goes well.

Lovely thanks for your replies. We are hoping for a scan before xmas just so we can relax as this is our first so we have all the usual worries that i have read about on here. Thanks ladies

hi, the same as everyone else has said really but i remember with my son i was 20 weeks between christmas and new year and thats when i had my 20 wk scan so you hopefully shouldnt have to wait
