1st Jabs with a cold

Hi Ladies,

My baby has his first jabs on wednesday and last night he started showing symptoms of a cold. He seems really snuffly (sounds like a little piggy grunting) and coughing and sneezing. Will he still be able to have his jabs?

Also has anyone got any advice on what can help a little baby with a cold? He's not 2months until friday so can I give him calpol if he gets a temp?

calpol is a pain med... so it won't help his cold symptoms... I would bath Tia in a warm bath with a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil... which always helped her breathing... also I would sit with her in the bathroom while running a really hot bath... so she could breath in the steam. but its best not to get his jabs done if he has a cold

i was told it was fine if they had a cold unless they'd had a temp with it
