16 week midwife appointment....

ive got my 16 week midwife appointment tomorrow.
what happends at it?
bloods? etc?
i take it i need to take my folder with me.

yes u need to take your folder with you and and a wee sample but no blood i dont think xx

Mine was just urine and bloodpressure checks from what I can remember.

I had to take my folder with me, I got blood test for downs at this appointment and I also got to heat LO's heartbeat too xx

Take your folder and a urine sample (you are meant to take one to every appointment, i got some dirty looks when i forgot with the last LO)

I had blood pressure checked, bloods taken but that was at a request of my consultant otherwise she said no bloods are done at 16 weeks.
Normally they check LO's HB aswell
This time around i was in there all of 5 minutes x

bugger, cant take a sample. cant get a sample bottle will have to go docs early and do it there. grrrr wish they would tell you these things.
