11weeks + 3days horrendous.. :'(

I feel I need to tell people,not to worry others but just so ladies are aware...

Me and OH had sex on Sunday afternoon and on Monday morning,I had the smallest amount of brown spotting as I wiped..I wore a pad incase there was anymore,no cramping or anything else. But there wasn't,Tuesday afternoon there was more still a tiny amount,but definitely there. My Dr booked me in for an early scan on Wednesday,normal scan was performed and sonographer informed us,she wasn't seeing what she should be for an 11week old baby,she gave me an internal scan and told us the baby had stopped living at 7weeks and that my body would end the pregnancy naturally. They gave me the option of pills to bring on miscarriage or a DNC if it didn't start naturally.Wasnt anymore spotting,I woke up on Thursday morning with contraction like pain but no blood,by 1pm the bleeding had started and continued at a steady pace.It got to around midnight the bleeding and pain had become severe,I got rushed into hospital at 2am after a few hours,alot of morphine and more bleeding and pain a nurse had to scrape out my cervix/womb as part of the sac had become stuck in my cervix which is what was causing the extreme pain,so basically what I'm saying is no matter how small the symptoms please get checked out sooner rather than later as I wouldn't wish it on anyone


now been going through it since Monday and actual m/c since Thursday,still in pain and no sign of it gettin any easier xxx

What a tough time you have been through Make sure you take some painkillers and get some rest. I found a hot water bottle helped a little too. So sorry you're going through this xx

Hi Jessica, so sorry to hear you lost your baby, I hope that pain killers help, stay strong - time is a great healer. I have had 2 missed miscarriages at 10 & 11 weeks and I had a D&C in both cases. A close friend had gone through what you have gone through and she told me to have the D&C so it is very good of you to share what has happened to you. I know there are some risks with the D&C but I found it easier to recover physically and this helped me get in the right headspace to keep trying. Take care.

Thankyou all for your kind words,pain is coming in waves rather than constant now,bleeding has changed from red to brown,dark brown so hopefully the physical side of it is comin to an end xxx
