10 weeks and bleeding

Hi ladies

So a couple of days ago I started feeling some pelvic pain. Yesterday I noticed some bright red blood on wiping a couple of times. This morning it's still there. When I wipe bright red blood. It's not a huge amount but enough to worry me. I'm not even sure what to do in this situation
I've got 3 kids already and never experienced any bleeding at all in those pregnancies. It is a Sunday so I can't really do anything other than wait until tomorrow and phone my gp? Not really sure what to do apart from wait as I don't think there is any other options.

Does your local hospital have an early pregnancy unit that you could ring?

If the bleeding gets heavy, or if you start experiencing pain though you need to go to a&e

The early pregnancy unit is closed over the weekend. I am having mild cramp but nothing major so I guess I can wait until tomorrow morning.

Have you had sex recently? That would give me huge amounts of bright red bleeding when I was pregnant with my first... when was your last scan? I would bet all is still ok. How are you feeling?

No sex at all. As you know I've been feeling terrible and that's been the last thing I would want to do just now unfortunately for my husband!
My scan was 1 week ago. Yea I'm sure all is ok I'm just not sure what to do. Xx

If you saw a healthy baby a week ago then yeah it’s extremely unlikely anything is wrong with the baby. Have you been constipated? I know straining can cause some cervical bleeding. Is there an on-call doc or nurse you can talk to?

I had bleeding early on (and later. And even later). Any time i had bleeding i was put on bed rest (to the degree that ita possible obviously) and doc prescribed progesterone. Maybe just get some rest hun and call docs tomorrow?

Hey I called the doctor this morning and she referred me to the early pregnancy unit at the hospital. She said they will be contacting me directly to go up and see them for an appointment and a scan.
I actually thought it could be from all the vomitting as it does put strain on my whole body it's so much and maby cervix has been irritated.
Well I guess they will be checking everything so I'll just have to wait for my time xx

I think that the vomiting could very well have caused some kind of upset resulting in bleeding. It is severe contraction of the body's muscles after all.
I'm sure you will get the all clear - MANY women experience some kind of bleeding during their pregnancy
