10 week scan

Hi all I’m 10 weeks pregnant it’s my second pregnancy but my first born is coming up to 12 so it’s been a long time since I was pregnancy so I’m really excited ive booked a early pregnancy scan but I feel silly for booking it as you won’t see much but I can’t help myself just want opinions on weather its something you would do or not or is it worth it

You’ll actually see quite a bit at 10+ weeks, baby will start to look like an actual baby and will be wriggling around too! I booked a private early scan too but had it at 8 weeks as just needed some earlier reassurance after previous miscarriage, it was well worth it to me as it helped me relax a bit and broke up the awful wait from getting the positive test to the 12 week scan, if you can afford it and really want one then I say go for it! On the other hand cos you are quite close to the 12 week scan anyway you could always save your money and use it for a private 16 week gender scan if you were going to find out the gender xx

Can you i shall defiantly keep the appointment I’ve been in and out of hospital last few weeks so it will be nice to have a cheeky sneak peak I can’t wait its booked for Christmas Eve late on the night my partner doesn’t know so it will be a nice little surprise for him too I have my 12 week in the new year just can’t wait hehe thank you for the reassurance xx

I had a scan at 8+6 and saw the HB and baby wriggling about. It was lovely to see and very reassuring. I paid £50 and it was worth every penny!

That’s good to hear thank you for your comment i have scan booked for tomorrow night at 8pm so I can’t wait loveley Christmas Eve present it’s defiantly worth every penny x
